XC Camp/Summer Training Week 9

Congratulations on surviving HARC week and a huge thank you to the families that helped out with breakfast after the morning runs all week.

Mileage shirt update: to be on track to earn the mileage shirt for the summer you should be at about 290 miles, 180 for our middle schoolers.  We have 3 weeks left.  Make sure you have been keeping track of your miles on the mileage tracker sheet or another method.

The start of the high school season is rapidly approaching, make sure you have completed all the documents on registermyathlete and have submitted a physical. I want all team members on register my athlete by August 1st with physicals submitted by August 10th.  Our first meet is August 14th.

We may be dealing with air quality issues again this week, so some run locations may be changed at the last minute. Notification will go out on Instagram @hillcrestruningco and on the captain's group me.

Just a reminder that when we have travel runs, the car caravan leaves Hillcrest at 6:05.  You can also go directly to the run site if you prefer.

Remember the afternoon/evening recovery runs are not only a great tool in keeping your legs healthy, they are also a good way to increase your weekly mileage total.
