Now that we are getting close to our first meet, a reminder that physicals, participation fee and registration on registermyathlete need to be taken care of by August 10th. Congrats for surviving HARC week, this week will be less strenuous. You should be continuing with evening recovery runs, but we won't meet as a team for them.
Monday - Cottonwood Complex 4300 S. 1300 E. We will be meeting at Cottonwood Complex for mile repeats. Let captains know if you will need a ride.
Tuesday - Hillcrest -- We will be doing strength exercises in the weight room after the run. We will finish between 8 and 8:15
Wednesday - Top of the World We will be meeting at 2300 E. Bengal Blvd for the run.
Thursday - Hillcrest - Intro to tempo runs We will be doing strength exercises in the weight room after the run. We will finish between 8 and 8:15
Friday - Hillcrest Intro to pre race routine, we will also check out the course for the time trial
Saturday - Run With the Huskies Time Trial and fundraiser breakfast - Meet at Crestwood by 6:15 Time Trial starts at 7

HARC Week
We will meet at Hillcrest to caravan up to our run locations for all morning practices. We will meet at Hillcrest for the evening practices as well. We will be getting back later after these runs do to travel and breakfast. We will finish the run and stretching between 8 & 8:15 and will usually make it back to Hillcrest by 9 A big thank you to all the parents helping out with breakfasts and transportation this week.

Summer Training Week 6 Schedule
Reminder that all runners should be doing a low effort 30 minute run on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Experienced runners should also be doing them on Tuesday and Thursday.
Monday - City Creek -- Meet at Hillcrest at 6 am to carpool to the NE corner of the State Capitol. We should return to Hillcrest sometime between 8:30 and 9.
Tuesday - Hillcrest -- We will be doing strength exercises in the weight room after the run. We will finish between 8 and 8:15
Wednesday - Albion Basin -- Meet at Hillcrest at 6 am or the park and ride lot at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon to carpool to Alta Ski Resort We should be back to the park and ride lot around 8:30 and Hillcrest before 9
