Racing Season Week 2 schedule

This week we will shift to our school schedule.  We will have two practices a day; a short practice at 6 am and our main practice at 3 pm. For the morning practice, meet near the start/finish line on the track.  Since it is staying dark longer in the mornings, most of our morning runs will be on the track or on campus. We will meet at Hillcrest for all practices unless noted.

Monday - 6 am - 30 minute easy run - core
3 pm - intervals on the track This practice will probably last about two hours

Tuesday - 6 am - 30 minute easy run - strength in the weight room
3 pm - tempo run

Wednesday - 6 am - 30 minute easy run - core
3 pm - pre-race run

Thursday - 6 am - 15 minute shake out run - striders - race visualization
1:20 - meet at Hillcrest for bus to Sugarhouse Park for Highland Invitational

Friday - 6 am - 30 minutes easy run - core & body weights
3 pm - post-race meeting and run

Saturday - 8 am meet at Winchester Park for long run (This is a change from the calendar due to construction in Draper)

Reminder: Before athletes can compete in meets, participation fees must be paid, completed physicals must be submitted, and all eligibility forms finished on registermyathlete.com.
