You should be emailing your mileage totals each week to hillcrestrunning@hotmail.com. Check the weekly mileage totals on the summer schedule for what you should have done to compare. The most important mileage statistic is NO ZEROES! Rookies should have done about 20 miles.
Travel Forms and Summer Camp forms need to be turned in to Coach Olsen.

Week 3
Monday - team run @ Hillcrest - (Evening runs continue for returning runners; check your summer schedule.)
Tuesday - individual/group runs - These runs are crucial to proper recovery and performance when the racing season starts. Don't cheat yourself. Do core. Use the exercises Jared taught you and/or add your own.
Wednesday - team run - Trail Run We leave Hillcrest to meet at the park and ride lot at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon to run the Little Cottonwood Trail. Captains will organize carpools. You may meet us that the lot at 6:15 if you live close to the canyon. If you are starting this week, make sure you have your travel forms turned in to Coach Olsen.
Thursday - individual/group run - Do Core.
Friday - team run/travel varsity with Coach Olsen - JV at Dimple Dell trail
Saturday - individual/group runs
Sunday - off or active rest
Register for the Sandy City Classic July 4th 5K. You may register in person at the Sandy Parks office or online. Register before July 2 for the best price.
Information will also be posted on the Hillcrest Running Co. Facebook group and Google+ community.
Don't forget if you need to miss practice, follow the mileage schedule and notify the coaches in advance of your absence(s).
