Summer Training Week 9

We only have three more training weeks to get to the 400 mark to earn the mileage shirt.  Make sure you are recording your miles. 

Remember the summer camp online form is finally open.  It will stay open until 8/15.  Also by 8/15 we need to have each athlete with the registermyathlete process must be complete including a current physical on file with the AD and the $60 participation paid.  The fee can be paid on the registermyathlete site or in the office.  The official UHSAA physical form is found on the registermyathlete site. Athletes can't compete until that process is finished.

Monday August 5th meet at Hillcrest at 6:00 or at Crestwood Park at 6:10.  We will be doing 1000 meter repeats.  Second run 30 minutes recovery pace. 

Tuesday August 6th meet at Hillcrest at 6:00. We will be doing our Ghost run and then strength and core in the weight room.  Second run 30 minutes recovery pace.

Wednesday August 7th meet at Hillcrest at 6:00 or at the NE corner of the Capitol Building at 6:20.  We will be running City Creek Canyon.  Second run 30 minutes recovery pace.

Thursday August 8th meet at Hillcrest at 6:00. We will be doing our Vine Street run and then strength and core in the weight room.  Second run 30 minutes recovery pace.

Friday August 9th meet at Hillcrest at 6:00.  We will be doing our Del Taco run.  Second run 30 minutes recovery pace.

Saturday August 10th first official Saturday practice. Meet at Hillcrest at 6:00 or at Jordan Rotary Park at 6:20 to do a 70 minute run on the Jordan River Trail.  Second run is optional 20 - 30 minutes recovery pace as needed or cross training.
