Summer Training Week 3

As we continue with our summer training, remember to report your miles.  You can send the miles to hillcrestxc@gmail.com.  Remember the goal is to try for 400 miles +. As summer vacations and other activities happen, follow the training calendar as closely as possible.

We will start each day at 6:05.  For our travel runs, that is when we will load up to caravan to the trailhead.  We will start our warmup routine at 6:05 on Tuesday and Thursday.

Monday June 24th meet at Hillcrest at 6 or at Hidden Valley Park on Wasatch Boulevard at 6:20 We will be running the Bonneville Shoreline Trail  2nd run 30 minutes recovery

Tuesday June 25th meet at Hillcrest
We will be running our Ghost run. Following the run, we will be in the weight room for strength and core exercises. 2nd run 30 minutes recovery

Wednesday June 26th meet at Hillcrest at 6 or at the Park and Ride lot at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon at 6:20   2nd run 30 minutes recovery

Thursday June 27th meet at Hillcrest
We will run our cemetery run. Following the run we will be in the weight room for strength exercises. 2nd run 30 minutes recovery.

Friday June 28th meet at Hillcrest at 6 or at the Jordan River Rotary Park at 6:20. The easiest way to get to the park is to take the 123rd So exit on I-15 and head west towards Riverton. We will be doing a 70 minute run on the Jordan River Trail. Beginning runners will be doing a lower number.
2nd run as needed for recovery

Saturday June 29th we will not meet as a team but run on your own or with a group.  This should be an easy run of up to 60 minutes, less for beginning runners
