Team Gear:  A $30 team ‘spirit pack’ including a long sleeve t-shirt and backpack will be made available for purchase. Additional optional items may also be purchased. Parents may also buy these additional clothing items.

Shoes:  In order to help prevent injuries during training, athletes will need to obtain proper running shoes.  Track spikes or other event shoes are also encouraged for competition.

Clothing: The weather during track can vary a great deal.  Athletes need to be prepared for all weather conditions.  Athletes should be prepared with clothing suitable for hot, cold and wet weather each day.   A good supply of sunscreen is also recommended.

Meets:  Captains will lead the team in a team lap and stretch before the meet begins.  Each athlete will be responsible for warming up before his/her individual events.
Volunteers: Parents will be asked to volunteer as officials for our home meets to help the meet run quickly.  This could include making lane assignments, timing, recording times, or judging an event.
